Proper sighting for a rifle depends on many things, and that list increases when you use a scope. The goal, of course, is to get the lines of the scope and barrel to be as close as possible, all while retaining a comfortable eye position. Bigger lenses allow for better image quality and focus, and a bigger set of scope rings help you properly place that scope for optimal targeting.

Warne Maxima rings have proven to be the strongest scope rings on the market. The vertically split design offers robust simplicity and ease of installation. American-made quality and precision at an affordable price make Warne Maxima scope rings the best in their class, and the 221M Maxima 34mm scope rings are an outstanding example. These medium scope rings are big enough to hold smaller versions of Cabela's Covenant 7 scope and other similar scopes - it can hold an objective as big as 52mm. Weighing in at 5.5 ounces, they have a width of .705 inches, giving you a better grip of the scope's barrel. Made with premium steel that has been custom machined at our U.S. plant, they feature a matte black finish.

The Maxima Fixed Ring Series of scope mounts fit Weaver style cross slot bases and incorporate a Warne square stainless steel recoil control key in both the front and rear rings. This ensures a "no slip" positive recoil surface across the entire slot of the base and is capable of withstanding the heaviest of recoil. The Maxima square recoil key also protects against swaging or peening of the bases when used on softer or less durable materials. The Maxima Fixed Ring band is also substantially wider for additional clamping surface around the scope to hold the optic firmly in place. Warne Maxima Scope Rings are designed to fit Warne bases as well as all Weaver cross slot and Mil-Spec Picatinny style bases and rails.
